Q?

Do you provide sponsorships for H-1 Visas?

A.

Under certain circumstances we will consider sponsoring an H1-B visa. For example, if you have quantifiable proficiency in a skill set that is very marketable and mainstream, we may consider visa sponsorship. All visa issues are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

AEG is recognized throughout the business community as one of the best firms of its kind. It has been recognized by industry publications as one of the largest and fastest growing private firms in St. Louis. Just ask anyone in the industry, we're sure that you will hear great things about AEG.

Q?

How will an offer be made if I am interested in consulting opportunities?

A.

A phone call will be made to establish a verbal commitment. A time will then be scheduled for you to sign an offer letter and other related employment documents (i.e. W4, insurance, 401k, etc.).

Q?

Is our relationship exclusive?

A.

Remaining in control of where your resume is submitted is critical to your career search. Frequently, in frustration, a manager may eliminate a resume that has been submitted from two or more sources. However, the exclusivity of our relationship is dictated by you.

Q?

How often will I hear from you?

Q?

How will we stay in touch?

A.

We have found that most people prefer telephone correspondence though we realize that telephone conversations can sometimes be difficult. As a result, we often use email to as a means to correspond.

Q?

What happens after I send my resume?

A.

You will receive a follow up response to your resume shortly after your submittal. Your first contact with AEG will be with one of our staffing specialists. We will first speak with you on the phone to understand your background and what you are looking to do. If it appears that we are a good fit for each other, a meeting will be scheduled to further discuss your strengths, career goals and our available positions. Technical evaluations may be given at this time to gauge your level of technical proficiency. We will then go over any available positions that meet your requirements and background and, with your permission, submit your resume to our client(s) for consideration. Concurrently, your professional references will be contacted to more fully understand your background and skills. As soon as we have feedback on that particular position (or as soon as we have new positions), we will contact you.

Q?

If I send my resume, will it be confidential?

A.

Absolutely! Your entire relationship with AEG is kept confidential. We will send your resume to a company only after you have identified the opportunity as one you are interested in and you have given your consent.

Q?

How do you get access to jobs I cannot?

A.

Many of the companies we work with don't advertise their positions because of the time and expense associated with performing their own candidate search. Instead they open these jobs to AEG, knowing that we will send them only qualified candidates for their openings. Due to our long-term relationships with our clients, we have firsthand knowledge of any new IT openings.

Q?

How are your consultants compensated?

A.

That depends on you. You have a choice. The majority of our Consultants receive salary and full benefits though there are some that opt not to receive benefits at all or maybe just a portion of them. We strive to create a package that best meets our consultant's needs.
